One crew, one invite code, everyone in.
Rideout Moto is built around a private crew. One person starts the crew and becomes its organizer; everyone else joins with an invite code. There is no public directory and nobody can find or join your crew without the code.
- Sign in with Apple, or use an email address and password.
- Tap Start a crew, give it a name, and you are the organizer.
- Your invite code lives on the Crew tab. It is a word and two digits, easy to read out over an intercom or paste into a group text.
- Riders join with Join with a code. They land in your crew immediately.
- Under Settings > I am, pick your own rider card so rides and chat show your name.
Propose, RSVP, roll out.
Anyone in the crew can propose a ride. Every ride carries a meet point, a kickstands-up time, stops, and an optional route file. Riders answer I'm in or Out, and the ride page shows who is coming.
- Up Next is the board: the next ride up top with a countdown to roll-out and a one-tap handoff into your navigation app.
- Calendar shows the month. Add any ride to your own calendar with one tap.
- Multi-day trips get a day plan, a packing list, and per-day stops.
- Every ride has its own crew chat with glove-friendly quick replies. Press and hold a message to react to it.
- You get a notification for new rides, changed meet times, new chat messages, and a reminder before the meet.
Stop guessing when everyone is free.
The Find a Ride tab lets each rider mark when they are available. Start a poll with a few date and time windows, let the crew answer, then turn the winning window into a real ride with one tap. Availability is private until you choose to share it with the crew.
Free for three riders. Full Crew for up to 25.
A crew is free up to three riders. To go bigger, the organizer subscribes to Full Crew: $1.99 a month or $19.99 a year, one subscription that covers up to 25 riders. Riders never pay.
- Where to find it: Settings > Crew plan (organizer only), or the Full Crew screen that appears when a fourth rider tries to join.
- A Full Crew crew takes up to 25 riders. When it is full, a rider trying to join sees a message saying so, and nobody already in is ever removed. Crews that had Full Crew before the 25-rider limit keep room for any number of riders while their subscription is active.
- Manage or cancel any time in your Apple Account settings under Subscriptions. If it lapses, nobody is removed. The crew simply stops taking new riders beyond three.
- New phone or reinstalled the app? Tap Restore Subscription on the Full Crew screen.
- Started a new crew? Full Crew only moves when you ask. Tap Move Full Crew here under Settings > Crew plan; the old crew drops back to the free limit.
Billing questions. Payment goes through Apple, so refunds and receipts are handled at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can see whether your crew is covered, but we cannot see or change your Apple billing.
Emergency card and back-safe check.
Every rider can fill in an emergency contact and medical notes. On the ride, two taps from the roster open a rider's emergency card with a large dial button. After the ride, the back-safe roll-up shows who is still out until someone marks them home. Emergency details are visible to your crew only and never leave the app.
Quick answers.
- I lost the invite code. The organizer sees it on the Crew tab and can regenerate it; existing riders always stay in.
- I want to leave a crew. Settings > Leave crew. The last organizer of a crew with other riders hands the role over first (Crew tab > Members).
- Someone shows up as "Unclaimed rider". They have not picked their rider card yet. Ask them to open Settings > I am.
- Notifications are not arriving. Check Settings > Notifications on your iPhone, then open the app once so it can register the device again.
- Backup. Settings > Backup exports your crew data to a file in Files; restore from the same place. We never receive a copy.
- Delete my account. Settings > Delete Account removes your account, profile, RSVPs and crew membership. Rides and chat messages stay with the crew's history.
Tell us what happened; we fix fast.
Email us with your crew name, what you tapped, what you expected, and what you saw instead. A screenshot helps. If the app asks you to, Settings > Developer > Diagnostics has a copy button that puts the technical details on your clipboard.
